Sometimes what I love most about an image isn’t the subject at all. In this image what I love is the soft, velvety background. So simple.
If you have an image you can show me, tell me what you love about it. Is what appeals to you what we see at first glance, or is it something we have to look for? Leave a link in the comments and I’ll stop by for a look. Thank you to all you wonderful people who stop by, whether you are clients, friends, or delightful cyber-friends. I’m grateful for each of you.

Lovely shot, Diane. The first image that I have up right now makes me giggle.
I love this image. If I saw that on a card, I’d buy it. I laugh at myself because I rarely send cards, but I buy them because I like the pics:-)
That’s such a beautiful picture — it’s very simple, but complex too with the different textures. I took some dog shots this weekend that I’m really happy with — I got s great shot of Squirt lying in the grass 🙂

Beautiful composition together with really nice processing. I like it!
Hmmm…today’s image is about something that you see immediately and at first glance..but also – something you have to look for:

Dear Diane, this picture you show is a delight, it is the background, however also the flower itself, so is the colour.
Right now I have no picture to show you that is simple, soft, or beautiful, right now I went for humour, things I see along the way, things that I notice.
To tell you the truth, right now I have too little time to really go into the ‘serious’ stuff, I do love to visit though blogs and look at what others do.
My time will come…not now….maybe in a few months.
I do love your ‘signature’, very well designed
