After thoughts:
Currently I have been: writing letters; baking gifts for neighbours; gazing at the view, drinking in the ever-changing sky; getting photos printed; filled with delight at those printed photos; listening to a delightful podcast; planning parties.
what a beautiful collection you’ve shared
the sepia toning of the top image is just gorgeous
I have to agree with Kathy. Your post lightened my rather grumpy mood related to the wet weather. In addition it reminded me of my visit to Wordworth’s home in the Lake District earlier this year. We were able to linger in his attic study and gaze out of the window at the view he saw from his desk. As a gardener I also appreciated his quote, “True taste has an eye for both weeds and garden flowers.”
I have to tell you how much I continue to enjoy your posts. They are like taking a big breath in and slowly exhaling with a sigh. Peace ensues.
In a world of keyboard warriors you are the proverbial breath of fresh air.
