Heidi recently turned five and we began to reflect upon then and now. So much has changed since we welcomed that 11-month old girl into our lives and our home.
Looking at the photos from that time, she didn’t yet have a full coat, which has turned rather curly. She’s matured in innumerable ways and never a day goes by that she doesn’t make us smile or laugh out loud.
She is such a good dog and I know that sounds like a very biased statement. It is. But it’s also very true. She is so well behaved and is a pleasure to take out in public or when welcoming people to our home (pre-pandemic, of course).
There’s really no other purpose to this other than to puff our chests out at what a good girl she is and to acknowledge this pretty lady who is part of our family.
Since I don’t have much to impart today, I’m sharing an excellent article with solid information for those who may be interested: Eleven Things Humans Do that Dogs Hate.
She is just beautiful, Diane!
Happy Birthday, Heidi!!!!
xo.
she’s absolutely beautiful and the artwork is stunning
Sounds like it has been a well-traveled journey from the very beginning. Here’s to another five years of discovery with Heidi. That first photo is so endearing as her eyes peer through your lens and melt our hearts.
