Sometimes …

I simply step outside and inhale the cool sea air, drawing in the sweet scent of wet cedar, and take a photograph of … anything — like a bird house — simply to ground myself so I don’t go off on a rant about the current state of our country. Perhaps I should say, the current state of idiots (no explanation needed if you live in Canada right now).

I have a couple draft posts ready to publish but today felt that something with a bit of beauty — or at least my view of beauty — was in order.

There was a time I used to end my blog posts with a link to a musical piece I called a “soundtrack.” Although I likely won’t bring it back with every post, expect one from time to time. They’re simply too good not to share.
I shared this with my son back on January 1st and it’s one I keep going back to. Soundtrack: Jose M Armenta’s beautiful piano rendition of La canción de Sara (Sara’s song).
Enjoy the rest of your day my lovelies. — Diane
absolutely love all the pics, but the one in the fog is perfect. i love how fog works in photography.
The beauty is just as real as everything is. Thank you for it. xo
Thank you for this beauty – the images and the music.
How nice to have this beauty right outside your door to enjoy! Splendid wood grain patterns in your B&W rendition of the birdhouse. And what a song to relax to! What’s happening in Canada can’t be half as bad as the US. 🙂
